DR.BRAY'S PHILOSOPHY
Plastic Surgery for Men
Plastic surgery is now being requested by men of all ages and walks of life for cosmetic reasons. A more masculine chest, a rejuvenated face, and a smaller waistline are all possible aspirations for men. Whatever the case may be, Dr.Bray considers the whole of the body throughout the process to ensure natural results.
During a consultation, Dr. Bray will work with you to identify your body goals and the procedures that will achieve dramatic but still natural results. Our facilities support nonsurgical and surgical procedures, providing private operating and recovery rooms- as well as 23-hour overnight accommodation for larger procedures.

The basics of male plastic surgery
Male VS female plastic surgery
Men and women have diverse physiques and facial structures. Plastic surgery plays a crucial role in preserving their manly traits. Men are increasingly opting for operations to elevate sagging necks and eyelids, remove body fat, and tighten areas of loose skin. Face and neck lifts, brow lifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, liposuction, abdominal etching, chest contouring, and abdominoplasty are all procedures that men might benefit from.
Am I a good fit for male plastic surgery
Good general health, emotional stability, and financial preparedness are good indicators that you may be ready for surgery. Those who are significantly overweight, smoke tobacco, or have serious medical problems (diabetes, heart disease, etc.) should address these issues first before seeking cosmetic surgery. The final decision requires a personal consultation with Dr. Bray who will evaluate your situation and goals to help determine if plastic surgery is right for you. If you’re interested in cosmetic surgery, we recommend you visit a family doctor, understand your goals for surgery, and stop harmful health behaviors like smoking before engaging in surgery.
How long does it take to recover
This will vary depending on the procedure; however, even with our “large” procedures, most patients are back to work in two weeks or less. If you have any specific employment requirements or limits, make sure to discuss these during your appointment.
We are also pleased to offer paperwork to your employer for any time away that is required.
Male breast reduction surgery
Gynecomastia surgery, also known as Male Breast Reduction surgery, is a procedure that reduces the size of a man’s breasts while also flattening and enhancing the chest outlines. Hormonal changes, heredity, excess weight, anabolic steroids, or the use of certain medicines can all contribute to gynecomastia.
If your breast size is disproportionately large, despite a decent body weight and good health, then surgery can be a very effective treatment. Male breast reductions are a particular specialty of Dr. Bray, who is most often able to remove the excess breast gland and fat through a small incision in the underarm. Unlike most other surgeons, Dr. Bray’s technique leaves no visible scars on the front of the chest.
Male liposuction
Gynecomastia surgery, also known as Male Breast Reduction surgery, is a procedure that reduces the size of a man’s breasts while also flattening and enhancing the chest outlines. If your breast size is disproportionately large, despite a decent body weight and good health, then surgery can be a very effective treatment. Hormonal changes, heredity, weight, or the use of certain medicines can all contribute to gynecomastia.
Body lifts for men
A circumferential lift not only removes loose skin around the love handles and lower back, but it also lifts sagging, deflated buttocks and outer thighs. This treatment is usually needed after significant weight loss. Dr.Bray will analyze the body as a whole and create a custom solution that leverages various technologies to achieve a natural result for your individual body.
Tummy tuck for men
A bulging abdomen or “spare tire” of excess fat gathered around the belly bothers many men. To remove the fat, Dr. Bray oftens uses Radiofrequency-Assisted Liposuction (BodyTite™) technology. Only a few tiny incisions are needed, and a tiny cannula is introduced. The incision marks dissolve quickly, leaving no visible evidence of operation. In a few days, you should be able to resume your normal routine. However many men have a problem of loose, hanging skin in the lower abdomen. These problems are often a consequence of major weight loss, and cannot be adequately addressed with liposuction technology alone. Actual removal of the skin, in the form of a tummy tuck, is necessary. This procedure results in a long scar across the lower abdomen. Dr. Bray takes care to position this scar as low as possible, such that regular underwear or bathing suits are able to cover it.
FAQ
Is there a difference between male and female plastic surgery?
The only difference between male and female plastic surgery is who it’s being done on. All of the basic techniques that are used in female plastic surgery are also used in male plastic surgery, however the goals are often significantly different.
Is it weird for men to get plastic surgery?
Not at all. There are tons of men who have undergone plastic surgery for a variety of reasons, so you shouldn’t look at it as something only for women. Men get plastic surgery for medical reasons, but also get plastic surgery to feel better about their look.
